Do i bring my newborn to his baby shower after he is born?

so even tho i am having a baby shower that my sister is throwing me my sons father's side of the family wants to also throw a baby shower, but here is the thing his BRIGHT mother chose the date that my actual due date is on because we suspect that the baby will come earlier than my due date...however that is no gaurantee... but that to me makes no sense one, and two i feel like she is throwing it than because she feels like the baby will be here, and he will be able to be present at the baby shower which im not sure im too comfortable with...i honestly dont think i will be bringing him to his own baby shower after he just born so all these people can be trying to hold him and everything im not too comfortable with that...however she did say that if i cannot make she will my boyfriend sit in and play the role of the pregnant lady seems a little odd but watever...she also said that she still wants to come to the one my sister is throwing but she going to through my boyfriend one also. so i guess its his baby shower really, and the baby and i wont have reason to go anyway lol if i think of it that way. What do you think?
