Parents won't let me have my friends and boyfriend over when babysitting?

i'm gonna be babysittin for these kids out here for this couple, ya know, and the kids are 4 and 5 and the parents say i can't have any kids over? what's that ****? the kids are old enough to do their ownthing, make their own fun, turn the tv on and off, turn music on, make their own dinner, why shoul;dn't my friends and boyfriend be able to come over so we can talk and hang out. i really want to spend some time with them. should i plead my case to the parents?
