How should my newborn sleeep?

I had my daughter via emergency c section 4 days ago. I am breastfeeding and when we brought her home that night we had it all set up to get her out of her bassinet unfortunately in my condition it takes me forever And is very painful to get in and out of bed. I slept with her on my chest all night because I couldn't move and my husband even alternated with her on his chest because she now wont sleep in the bassinet only on us and it has only been two nights! What do we do?! Please help!
