Why are Democrats proposing ineffective solutions to the gas price crisis?

Because they want to force us into the green economy which enriches the select few. It impoverishes and controls the citizens and enriches select politicians. If by now most people haven't figured out that our Congress is irrelevant, they aren't paying attention.
